Eco-Friendly Chandeliers

I love home designing. If you ask me if I could go back to college what course would I take up, I know it'll either be architecture or interior design. I keep hoarding magazines and books, I bookmarked lots of sites all about interior design, home decor and the like.

Here's one find I really like - Eco-Friendly Chandeliers! Amazing creative designs yet environment friendly..

RECYCLED STIR STICKS CHANDELIER

RECYCLED BOTTLES CHANDELIER

GIANT LED CHANDELIER

The world’s largest chandelier, was made by the Meyda Tiffany chandelier company and it now adorns the Stanley theater in Utica New York. This chandelier uses 1120 watts of electricity and 328 LEDs (light emitting diode) manufactured by Philips Luxeon. The chandelier consumes about 1,120 watts of electricity which is about seven times more efficient than conventional light bulbs and it is made of steel, brown glass and acrylic. The chandelier is 35 feet in diameter, 17 feet tall, weighs in at 7000 pounds and is finished in gold and bronze.

STUART HAYGARTH - Tide Chandelier

Stuart Haygarth uses the UN-natural material that arrives on our beaches. And he turns them into lamps with an indescribable luminosity. This work, the Tide Chandelier, brings recycling art to a higher level by making cycles of cycles.

Good one! I really like people who'd do everything to help mother Earth in any medium. These lamps are really cool and I like the plastic stirring rods the best! Kudos!
