RECYCLED STIR STICKS CHANDELIER
This chandelier by Studio VerĂssimo was created out of hundreds of plastic stir sticks
The world’s largest chandelier, was made by the Meyda Tiffany chandelier company and it now adorns the Stanley theater in Utica New York. This chandelier uses 1120 watts of electricity and 328 LEDs (light emitting diode) manufactured by Philips Luxeon. The chandelier consumes about 1,120 watts of electricity which is about seven times more efficient than conventional light bulbs and it is made of steel, brown glass and acrylic. The chandelier is 35 feet in diameter, 17 feet tall, weighs in at 7000 pounds and is finished in gold and bronze.
