Finger Food Recipes: Onion Dip with Fresh Vegetables

It's been awhile since I've posted a finger food recipe. Here's another of my favorites. I like dips since it's flexible. You can serve it with chips, crackers, toasted breads or chopped fresh vegetables. It's easy to make, takes less preparation time and you can match it with whatever you have in your pantry or ref.

Ingredients:

2 cups (500ml) sour cream
3 oz. (90g) cheddar cheese, finely grated
1 package dry onion soup mix
Freshly ground white pepper

Procedure:
  • Place the sour cream and cheese in a medium bowl.
  • Add the soup mix and stir until smooth.
  • Season with pepper.
  • Cover the bowl and chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.
  • Serve with your choice of pica pica.
