Some Make-up Pointers

I rarely put on make-up when going out though on special occasion I do primp up a bit. Make-up is an essential part of what makes us feel good and attractive. Yet, a little bit of lipstick or a lip gloss and some blush is all that is needed before we go out the door. If you’re going out in the evening or have a special even planned, however, you may want to give yourself the full treatment. If that’s the case, here are quick look good tips for moms.
Before you get started applying the makeup, treat yourself to a dry skin brushing. After you take a shower, wash and blow dry your hair; add some olive oil as a conditioner to enhance its richness and sheen. Give yourself a manicure/pedicure to relax and soothe. Now you are ready to apply the makeup.
* Use a concealer to hide blemishes or circles under the eyes.
* Apply foundation which matches your skin tone. Use powder to keep both the foundation and concealer in tact.
* Use a pencil to floor in your eyebrows, if applicable. If it’s not necessary, ensure your eyebrows are well-defined by plucking excessive hair.
* Next, apply eyeliner with either a pencil or brush.
* Use mascara on upper and lower lashes. Choose a color which compliments your skin tone.
* Apply blush to your cheeks.
* Choose a lipstick color suitable to your skin tone and your outfit; and use a lip liner to accent.
Tell the truth; don’t you feel like a million bucks? Along with the special outfit you bought for the special occasion, you look and feel terrific, right? Even though you always look your best, special occasions call for a little extra time to take care of you. When you look good, you feel good. Enjoy yourself, you deserve it!
