Mailboxes would never go out of style. That's what I think anyway.. In this age of all things digital and paperless, I still consider it a pleasure and more meaningful to receive a well-written letter or a greeting card on my mail box.
I realize those letters are now far and few in between. People now are more used to communicating via mobile phones and the internet. Most of the time mail boxes are just relegated the role of storage for bills and promotional materials from some companies.
Still I insist on having one in front of our house. It looks quite nice and will definitely addcharacter to my front yard eh...My daughter is rooting for one too.. I think she wants it coz she thinks its some sort of a bird house..
