I was extremely busy last christmas season that I neglected taking care of myself. Two things that suffered this neglect, my weight (^_^ this is nothing new!hehe) and my hair (didnt bother going to the salon for regular treatments ). I'm unfortunately cursed with really thick and naturally wavy hair,so it needs to be reconditioned every so often to reduce the volume and so it wouldn't be so wavy.
After a few weeks of neglect, my hair is now a mess :( I'm left with no other option but to keep it tied. But if I keep it tied for so long, my scalp becomes really itchy. I was naturally in a panic as to what is the best remedy for this beauty glitch. My mom gave me this homemade intensive conditioner recipe. It's simple, didnt burn a hole in my pockets, and can be done at home.
I tried it myself and its very effective! My hair turned out to be super soft, smooth and it really tamed the waves. I actually bought a couple of bottles of olive oil so I can do this regularly...Olive oil is a bit pricey but then its even more expensive going to a salon.
Try this!

HOMEMADE INTENSIVE CONDITIONER
Mix 1/4 cup of olive oil with 1 egg and apply to hair.
· Use more olive oil if your hair is very long.
· Cover your hair with aluminum oil or clingwrap, then cover with a towel that has been soaked in hot water and rung out.
· Leave on for 30 minutes or overnight for deep conditioning very dry hair.
· Shampoo as usual.
