Bedroom Furniture Dilemma

Last weekend, we've been 'window shopping' for some bedroom furniture. Hubby likes wood and antique looking stuff while I am more in favor of contemporary furniture. He likes intricate designs and dark wood while I prefer clean, simple lines preferably in neutral colors. So we disagree most of the time on which furniture to get.

I've been trying to convince him to get a modern bedroom furniture, but he seems not too sold out on too sleek lines. So were now discussing having a bed custom made. This would definitely cost more but we just both have to be satisfied since were the one's going to use it.

We'll probably have platform beds - which is thoroughly modern and contemporary, then we'll add up a headboard with some of the intricate designs hubby prefers. That would be a compromise :P.
