Beat the Summer Heat with A Carribean Vacation

Ok, though it is still mild, the heat is starting to turn up here in Phnom Penh. Expect us to always be heading towards Sihanoukville or Kep every weekend or so this coming summer. For now though, I just content myself surfing and checking out those oh! so fabulous and luxurious resorts in the Caribbean and their all inclusive vacation package.

You know I've lived most of my life in the Philippines, where you can find some of the world's best beaches so you can say I'm really picky when it comes to vacation spots specially beaches. It's hard to be pleased specially when you've seen some of the best right in your neighborhoods, but I must say the Caribbean and a Caribbean vacation is one that I had been really salivating after.

For one, their beaches are to die for and add luxurious accommodations at the resorts and you get the best pampering and relaxation you can dream of. Their all inclusive vacation where you can enjoy deluxe accommodations, all meals and snacks, unlimited premium beverages, land and water sports, you don't even need to tip! Now that's what I call the ultimate vacation package!

Another thing that makes me all excited about it is their range of spa services! I'm a spa junkie so this is just almost too hard to resist! Talk about ultimate pampering. I just wish I could get a chance to go there someday soon.

Stylishly Comfortable Uggs!

A friend of mine has been raving about ugg boots for a couple of months now. In fact, her dearest Christmas wish was for a couple of these boots. I guess she got what she wished for, her husband got her some.

I was really curious then what's the fuss about these ugg boots. Apparently, its a boot :) made of sheepskin usually lined with wool inside and outer surface is usually tanned. It's origin still under dispute where both Australia and New Zealand claiming to have produced the first ugg's. Styles are mostly unisex and comes in various heights. So okay, its a boot right, nothing much special if you look at it that way, but what makes it really in demand and have people clamoring for it? It's the comfort plus sheepskin material gives the boot thermostatic features which allows you to use it even in the coldest temperatures, and that's an excellent combination, style and comfort!

Celebrities like Kate Hudson,Sara Jessica Parker, Jennifer Anniston, Eva Longoria have also helped create a demand for ugg's and it has since then become a fashion must have.  The boots though doesn't come that cheap so I'm sure fashionista's wanting to have their ugg collection are also on the lookout for ugg boots sale. There are also synthetic varieties now in the market which are of much lower price but still has a big difference from the one's made of sheepskin.

So, now I get why there's a lot of fascination with ugg boots. I'll definitely be rooting for one, that is, if I live in a country cold enough to need those warm uggs.

Whew! A brand new year and I find it unbelievable that this blog, Pinaywife Atbp., is now running towards its 3rd year. And I'm looking forward to still keeping it and giving you more frequent updates this 2010.

This will be all about home, homes decor, my personal passion - modern home decor, home accents, home organizing, home trends, home organizing (which is also a personal crusade of mine - to be more organized) plus home decor ideas with occasional posts about life, travel and personal stuff thrown in (after all, I'm human and have other interests too..).
